Fundamental to Lara’s work is the cross pollination that occurs between both coasts. One feeds the other in terms of design and experience. Our west coast properties teach us about conservation and environmental practices crucial to the survival of plant species and our east coast properties provide historic context for said practices. It is exhilarating and challenging to work with the changes in light and format from coast to coast.
